International Customers:
US Postal Service international shipping rates have increased to a flat rate of $12.95 for up to 4 pounds.  The small and large flat rate global mailer are not longer available.  If you have any questions, please send us an e-mail at scrappingcottage@cox.net

For international shipping, it is important that you be aware of your responsibilities as a buyer and that you follow these recommendations and guidelines. While we have had very few problems with packages shipped internationally, occasionally a problem will arise, and these guidelines will help you understand how the process works, (or what happens when it doesn't work).

Most packages are shipped via USPS Global Flat Rate- based upon weight and size.  It is cost-effective and does show proof of shipment.  However, please be aware that this shipping method is not completely trackable, nor is it insurable. If your order gets delayed, lost or damaged in transit at any point, we have no recourse with the carrier, nor will we be responsible for replacing or refunding your order. If you prefer an insured shipping methodsuch as Global Express Mail (insurable and trackable), please e-mail us and we will send you a shipping estimate, payable separately before your order can be shipped.

Once your package clears Customs, you will be responsible for any General Services Taxes(GST) or administrative fees on the item you order as imposed by your country's Customs agency. These GST taxes can range from 5 - 13%, but the administration fee is usually only $1 - 10. When we ship your package, an e-mail notification is automatically sent to you.

You are responsible for picking up your package when notified by Customsor your postal carrier. If you fail to pick up your package and pay your fees, the package will be returned to us after 10 days, and you will be responsible for the any additional return shipping charges or Customs charges and you will not receive a refund for your purchase. If you want the order reshipped to you, you will be responsible for the original shipping fees, any Customs charges or return shipping fees (if applicable), and the reshipping and any additional handling fees.

International orders take slightly longer to process thanorders, and delivery time varies depending upon shipment method and destination country.  Once your order has been billed, please allow up to 72 hours for your credit card payment to be verified - once your payment has processed, your package will be sent to the Post Office for shipping.  After it reaches the Post Office, it can take up to an additional 48 hours for your tracking number to appear in the USPS system.

Please know that Customs Offices have the right to hold packages for up to 30 days before releasing them to you.  We are unable to track packages shipped by Global Priority Mail once they reach their destination country.
